I’m looking for courageous educators committed to transforming large-scale special education systems. 

Qualities that Candidates must have

  • Big hearts with compassion for ALL who struggle.

  • Awareness that bravely facing challenges builds character.

  • Zest for learning from every experience/every encounter.

  • Hunger for the latest brain research, high leverage practices, effectiveness findings, coaching skills, and expert opinions.

  • Receptivity to alternative views and innovative approaches that could be game-changing. 

  • Experience with inclusion as we know it now (and determination to transform it). 


Actions that Candidates must take

  • Listen for the spoken and silent concerns at the center of each dilemma.

  • Form alliances with like-minded individuals to build communities of mutual support.

  • Continuously acknowledge the best in others and celebrate their victories.

  • Inspire personal leadership in colleagues, support staff, students, and families.

  • Willingly work long hours to accomplish passionate mission, then give credit away to others.


Positions require resilience and persistence in the face of obstacles. Satisfaction for a life well lived is an inside job. The best candidates will be self-selected.
