Free! Flexible Grouping Workshop

Would you like a workshop you could use with your faculty?

Beginning the new year, I found myself in a surge of gratitude and appreciation for professionals in the education community who have come through the past three years and are still in the profession. Bravo!  I am so inspired by your tenacity and determination to still be here for the children and youth who are our tomorrows.

It hasn’t always been pretty. We’ve been bombarded on all sides by the pandemic and by political, social, racial unrest -- all kinds of trauma. It’s not an easy time to be a teacher.

And with the teaching shortage, it’s even harder to be a school leader right now. But here you are. Hanging in there and probably doing better than anybody would have predicted.

I want to help school leaders!

I want to give you something you can use, to save you some time. The idea came to me during a strategy call with a school leader. She worried that her teachers were mainly using whole group instruction. She wanted them to tap into the power of flexible grouping to meet the variable needs of students, whether they were co-teachers or teaching solo.

She wanted to lead a professional development workshop, but couldn’t spare the time to pull it together.  I listened to what she wanted, and then I created the Flexible Grouping Workshop for her to use. She was relieved and pleased with her teachers’ reactions.

I figure she’s not the only one. So I’m going to offer this workshop as a free webinar!

A FREE Webinar:

Flexible Grouping for a Joyful Inclusion Classroom

Tuesday, Feb 14 at 2pm EST

Here’s the best part:

Everyone who registers for the webinar will get a follow-up email with:

  • A link to the recording of the webinar - that you can replay in faculty meetings, PLC meetings, wherever you want

  • A copy of the slides with speaker notes so you could lead the workshop yourself

  • A facilitator guide with discussion prompts and further resources

  • A link to the practice activity we’ll do during the webinar.

PS. If you’re not a school leader, you’re welcome to participate, of course. Then, please pass the materials on to that person who would use it with your whole faculty.
